Privacy Statement
InovaOne has created this Privacy Statement in order to demonstrate InovaOne's commitment to privacy on the Who Cares website, www.seewhocares.com. InovaOne's Privacy Statement sets forth InovaOne's information gathering, use, and disclosure practices solely for personally identifiable information collected by InovaOne at the Who Cares website. The Who Cares website may contain links to other websites that are not operated by InovaOne. InovaOne is in no way responsible for the privacy practices, the collection, use, or disclosure of information by such other websites, or the content of such other websites.
InovaOne encourages its users to be aware when they leave the Who Cares website to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects any personally identifiable information.
The Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information
As used in InovaOne's Privacy Statement, the phrase personally identifiable information is personal information that identifies a specific natural person and means:
- a first and last name;
- an address, including a street name, city or town, and zip code (but excluding a post office box);
- an e-mail address;
- a telephone number; and/or,
- an account number or credit card number.
In InovaOne's Privacy Statement, the phrase personally identifiable information is abbreviated as PII.
InovaOne is the owner of all PII that is collected by InovaOne on the Who Cares website. InovaOne may collect PII from users, customers, and in responses to online surveys and group discussions at several different points on the Who Cares website. InovaOne will not sell or rent PII to other organizations in ways that are different from what is disclosed in this Privacy Statement. InovaOne may share aggregate demographic information that does not contain PII.
IP Addresses
The Who Cares website uses IP addresses to help InovaOne analyze trends, administer the Who Cares website, track user movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses do not contain PII. The Who Cares website uses "cookies". A "cookie" is a piece of data stored on a user's hard drive that contains information about the user. A cookie does not contain and is not linked to PII while a user is on the Who Cares website. For instance, by setting a cookie on the Who Cares website, a user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on the Who Cares website. If a user rejects the cookie, the user may still use the Who Cares website, but would be limited in some areas of the Who Cares website. Cookies can also enable InovaOne to track and target the interests of users to enhance their experience on the Who Cares website.
Various Registrations
In order to receive certain updates or use certain features on the Who Cares website, a user may have to complete a registration form. During registration a user may be is required to provide PII, such as the user's name and/or an e-mail address. PII may be used to contact the user about InovaOne, the goods and services available on the Who Cares website, and to provide information about other topics and discussion groups. If requested, it is optional for a user to provide demographic information (such as income level and gender) and unique identifiers (such as a social security number), which enable InovaOne to provide a more personalized experience on the Who Cares website.
Newsletters
A user may subscribe to certain of InovaOne's newsletters on the Who Cares website. In that case, InovaOne will request PII, such as the user's name, mailing address, and/or an e-mail address.
PII may be used send such newsletters and may be used to contact the user about InovaOne, the goods and services available on the Who Cares website, and to provide information about other topics and discussion groups.
Contact Information
The Who Cares website may include an online catalog for customers to order goods and services, and contact forms for customers to request information and services. In such instances, InovaOne collects customer PII, such as a name, an e-mail address, a mailing address, an account number and/or credit card number. PII may be used to contact customers and send customers information about InovaOne, the goods and services available on the Who Cares website, and to provide information about other topics and discussion groups. InovaOne will not sell or rent PII to other organizations in ways that are different from what is disclosed in this Privacy Statement. PII may be disclosed as required or permitted by law.
A user or customer may opt-out of receiving future mailings and e-mailings from InovaOne by following the Choice/Opt-out instructions found at the end of this Privacy Statement.
Online Surveys and Discussion Groups
InovaOne may conduct online surveys, which may request PII, such as a name, an e-mail address, and/or a mailing address. PII may be used to contact users and send users information about InovaOne, the goods and services available on the Who Cares website, and to provide information about other topics and discussion groups.
Information collected by InovaOne's online surveys may be used to help InovaOne understand the interests and concerns of InovaOne's supporters and website users, and how they perceive InovaOne and InovaOne's mission.
InovaOne will not sell or rent PII to other organizations in ways that are different from what is disclosed in this Privacy Statement. PII may be disclosed as required or permitted by law.
InovaOne may provide opportunities for e-mail discussion groups. Information collected by InovaOne from such discussion groups may be used to contact users about InovaOne, the goods and services available on the Who Cares website, and to provide information about other topics and discussion groups.
A user participating in an online survey or discussion group may opt-out of receiving future mailings and e-mailings from InovaOne by following the Choice/Opt-out instructions found at the end of this Privacy Statement.
Third Party Contractors
InovaOne may contract with third parties to provide services to InovaOne, including services relating to the internal operations of the Who Cares website, the storage and retrieval of information, including PII, and other services. PII, on-line survey information, discussion group information, and aggregate demographic information may be maintained on InovaOne's servers or on InovaOne's third party contractor's servers.
Security
The Who Cares website has security measures in place to reasonably protect against loss, misuse, and alteration of information, including PII, that is under InovaOne's control. This includes a firewall and 24 monitoring of website activities by InovaOne's hosting service provider, as well as 128-bit SSL encryption (where allowed by law) on transaction oriented operations between customers and InovaOne via InovaOne's transaction service provider.
InovaOne uses SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online. InovaOne also takes reasonable steps to protect PII off-line. Access to PII is restricted in InovaOne's offices. Access to PII is limited on a need to know basis to enable InovaOne's employees and contractors to perform their specific job functions and responsibilities. InovaOne's employees use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their workstation. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to PII. InovaOne also has periodic training of InovaOne's employees on InovaOne's security and privacy practices.
InovaOne's employees are periodically reminded about the importance that InovaOne places on security and privacy, and what they can do to ensure that PII is protected. Finally, InovaOne's servers that maintain PII are kept in a secure environment.
Protection of Children
InovaOne cares about children. InovaOne works to voluntarily comply with provisions of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA) and its accompanying Federal Trade Commission regulations, which establish United States Federal law that protects the privacy of children using the Internet.
The Who Cares website is directed to adults and is not directed to children.
The Who Cares website does not knowingly collect or maintain personal information, as that phrase is defined in COPPA, from or about children under 13 years of age.
The Who Cares website is not intended to solicit, collect, or maintain information of any kind from or about children under 13 years of age. The Who Cares website has been designed to block knowing acceptance of information from or about children under 13 years of age whenever age related information is requested.
It is possible that by fraud, deception, or misrepresentation by others, InovaOne may receive information from or about a child under 13 years of age. If InovaOne is notified of such a situation, upon verification of the information, InovaOne will immediately seek to obtain verifiable parental consent or InovaOne will otherwise delete personal information pertaining to such child from InovaOne's database. Please notify InovaOne of its receipt of personal information from or pertaining to a child under 13 years of age by contacting InovaOne using this form.
Correcting Updating, and Removing Personally Identifiable Information
InovaOne will use reasonable efforts to provide a way for the Who Cares website users and customers to request that InovaOne correct, update, or remove that respective user's or customer's PII in or from InovaOne's database. If a user's or a customer's PII changes, or if a user or customer no longer desires InovaOne's goods or services, such user or customer may contact InovaOne and request that InovaOne correct, update, or remove that respective user's or customer's PII in or from InovaOne's database. This can usually be done at the member information page or by contacting InovaOne's Customer Support.
The Who Cares website gives users and customers the following options for requesting that InovaOne correct, update, or remove PII previously provided to InovaOne.

Notification of Changes
If InovaOne decides to change its Privacy Statement with respect to PII, InovaOne will post PII changes on the Who Cares website so users and customers are aware of what PII InovaOne collects, how InovaOne uses such PII, and under what circumstances InovaOne may disclose such PII. If at any time InovaOne decides to use PII in a manner different from that stated at the time such PII was collected, InovaOne will use reasonable efforts to notify users and customers for whom InovaOne has a current e-mail addresses of such change by way of an e-mail. Such users and customers will then have a choice as to whether or not to authorize InovaOne to use their PII in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected. If InovaOne cannot contact a particular user or customer concerning their respective PII, InovaOne will use that PII in accordance with the Privacy Statement that was in effect at the time such PII was collected.
Choice/Opt-Out
The Who Cares website provides users and customers the opportunity to opt-out of receiving further mailings and e-mailings from InovaOne at the point where InovaOne requests information about the user, customer, survey participant, or discussion group participant.
The Who Cares website also provides users, customers, survey participants, and discussion group participants with the following options for removing their PII from InovaOne's database and for notifying InovaOne that they do not want to receive future communications or services from the Who Cares website.
