Terms of service

Effective 23 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of autonoME: this website, the autonoME web and mobile apps, its text messages and emails, and its API (together, "the service"), operated by MEtric LLC ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to them. If your employer has signed an agreement with us, that agreement governs the employer's use of the service, and it prevails over these terms where they differ.

Who may use the service

The service is for healthcare employers ("customers") and the staff they invite. You must be at least 18, or the minimum working age where you live if higher, and you must use the login you were given for yourself only.

Your account

Using the service properly

You agree not to:

Scores, tiers and schedules

autonoME calculates reliability scores and tiers, and builds schedules, under rules each customer configures. They are tools for the customer. The customer remains responsible for staffing levels, compliance with staffing and labor law, pay, and every employment decision. Questions about your score, schedule or pay go to your employer.

Text messages

Program: autonoME alerts, sent on behalf of your facility about open shifts, Clinical Bridge callouts, your schedule, sign-in invitations and messages from your facility.

See our privacy policy for how your number is handled.

Our property and your content

The service, its software and the autonoME name and logo belong to us. The information customers and their staff put into the service belongs to them; we use it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy and the customer's agreement. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and secure, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or improve the service, and will give customers notice of changes that materially reduce what it does.

Disclaimers

Except as stated in a customer's agreement, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from the service. Our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amounts you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending use

You may stop using the service at any time. Your access ends when your employer removes your login or its agreement with us ends. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability, survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina, unless a customer's agreement says otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with its effective date, and continued use after that date means you accept it.
